Dr. David A. Cruz
Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. David Cruz, ND is a board-certified naturopathic doctor with over seven years of experience in both clinical practice and academia. He began his career in Puerto Rico, where he focused on pain management, botanical medicine, and acupuncture. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Cruz served as an academic coordinator and professor in the Naturopathic Medicine program at UAGM College, where he taught courses in botanical medicine, sports medicine and orthopedics, physical therapy, and anatomy and physiology, while also supervising student clinical rotations.
In 2023, Dr. Cruz relocated to California to broaden his scope of practice, focusing on weight management, hormone replacement therapy, and regenerative medicine. He trained through Empire Medical in advanced joint injection techniques.
Dr Cruz is also expertly trained in Regenerative Aesthetics techniques with advanced products such as Biofillers (Platelet Rich Fibrin), and the Biostimulators Sculptra and Radiesse. He possesses an artistic touch with his aesthetic approach while bringing a keen medical eye.
Dr Cruz provides medical consultations for Body Sculpting and medical weight loss and has vast experience with GLP1 medications and guiding patients through a medically supervised weight loss program.
Dr Cruz has received advanced training and direct mentorship in Hormone Replacement Therapy and male and female health from nationally recognized Longevity Medicine Expert Dr John Robinson. Dr Cruz is an expert in all forms of hormone replacement therapy including Subcutaneous Pellet Therapy and Hormone Injections He has received additional training with Dr Robinson on Longevity Medicine approaches including advanced biomarker analysis and Peptide Therapy.
Dr. Cruz is deeply committed to helping patients achieve optimal health and longevity, empowering them to live life with vitality and purpose.When he's not in the clinic, he enjoys hiking, road trips, and practicing martial arts.
Kristina Pacheco
Aesthetics Registered Nurse & Medical Aesthetician
Kristina is our outstanding Aesthetic Nurse Injector whose professional knowledge and background in medical aesthetics started in 2008 when she became a licensed Esthetician. Over the past 16 years, with her extraordinary eye for detail and continuous professional training, she has enjoyed helping patients look and feel their best. Kristina specializes in all of our aesthetic treatments and devices including Neurotoxins, Kybella, Biostimulators, & Fillers, PRP/PRF Microneedling & Hair Restoration, Sciton BBL, Hydrafacials, BTL Exilis Ultra and more.
Outside of work, Kristina loves to explore new places with her husband and two young daughters and pursue her other passions, including photography.
Shawn Acharya
Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner
Shawn joined our team in 2023 as an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with extensive experience in oncology, clinical research, and emergency nursing. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Sonoma State University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Shawn's career is marked by a commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence. He is extremely detailed and precise with his techniques, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes. Shawn specializes in hormone replacement therapy, injectables, and anti-aging and rejuvenation treatments. His extensive experience in medicine, attention to detail, and critical care background makes him an outstanding Aesthetics & Wellness Provider. Patients greatly appreciate his expertise, compassionate approach, and dedication to their overall health and well-being.
In his free time, Shawn can be found on the soccor field, hiking, or meditating & praying.
Sneha Patel
Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner
Sneha has a background in Biology, a BSN from UNLV, and a Master's in Family Nurse Practitioner from Touro University, she's a true expert in cosmetic treatments. Specializing in fillers, various neuromodulators, Lasers, Morpheus, CoolSculpting and skin tightening procedures, she excels in creating facial harmony and personalized treatment plans. Her gentle approach and brilliance make her patients feel truly cared for. With a passion for empowering women to feel confident, she brings comprehensive care and a touch of magic to every treatment.
When not practicing, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, hiking, traveling, and practicing yoga.
Vanessa Torres
Patient Coordinator
Vanessa's bubbly energy makes it hard to not smile when you visit our office. From booking appointments to following up with patients post treatment, Vanessa utilizes her strong 5+ year background in customer relations to connect with patients and support them in achieving their aesthetic goals.
Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys cuddles with her dog Milo and expressing her style and creativity through nail art and fashion.
Mayra Plascencia
Medical Assistant & Coolsculpting Certified Specialist
Mayra has over a decade of experience as a certified Medical Assistant and is CoolSculpting certified. She enjoys being in the Medical field and is currently pursuing her Nursing degree.
In her free time, she is a devoted mother of two and enjoys running with her Labrador and going camping with her family.
Brianna Simpson
Practice Manager
Brianna has over 10+ years of customer service and leadership experience, as well as many years in the aesthetics industry as a multi unit manager overseeing as many as three medspa clinics. During her time as an aesthetic clinic manager, she was able to build lasting relationships with patients and keep the highest patient satisfaction in the company. She is an expert in the industry and can walk you through a personalized consultation for the treatments we offer, where you can see the passion she has for the aesthetic field come through! She has seen life changing results from the treatments we have at Sculpt MD and will be thrilled to share.
Outside of the practice you can see her being the most proud soccer mom! She values movie nights with her family and enjoying one of the many hiking trails in the Bay area.
